AKOM Receives LLDIKTI Award Region VIII

Bali – Olat Maras Community Academy (AKOM) successfully received the LLDIKTI Award during a ceremony held in Denpasar, Bali, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Auditorium Widya Sabha Uttama, 4th Floor, Rectorate Building, Warmadewa University (Unwar).

AKOM received the award in the category of 3rd Best PDDIKTI Reporting for Academies in 2025. Located in Pernek Village, Moyo Hulu District, AKOM is the only community academy offering Diploma One (D1) education in the Heavy Equipment Engineering Study Program, alongside the Renewable Energy Engineering Program and the Poultry Agribusiness Program.

The award was presented by Head of LLDIKTI Region VIII, I Gusti Lanang Bagus Eratodi, and received by AKOM Vice Director IV, Sriyatun, M.M.Inov. Sriyatun expressed great pride and gratitude to LLDIKTI Region VIII, emphasizing that this recognition serves as motivation for AKOM to maintain and continuously improve its reporting to LLDIKTI. “We hope this marks a positive beginning for AKOM to continue receiving other awards in the future,” she stated.

The prestigious event was attended by 105 higher education institutions across the LLDIKTI Region VIII area. This year, the LLDIKTI VIII Award featured 42 award categories, reflecting various aspects of higher education performance, including governance, academics, student affairs, innovation, as well as institutional collaboration and contributions to society.

Dr. I Gusti Lanang Bagus Eratodi, Head of LLDIKTI Region VIII, highlighted the importance of this event for the development of higher education in Bali and West Nusa Tenggara. He stated that the LLDIKTI VIII Award is not merely a routine event but a recognition of the dedication and achievements of higher education institutions that have demonstrated outstanding performance.

“This annual event represents the highest form of appreciation and recognition for the dedication, achievements, and performance of private higher education institutions in their ongoing efforts to improve the quality of higher education in Bali and West Nusa Tenggara,” he said.

“We present this award not merely as an assessment, but as a motivational drive for all higher education institutions to innovate, strengthen governance, and provide the best contributions to human resource development in our region,” he added.
