Inaugural Final Project Examination for AKOM Sumbawa’s Heavy Equipment Engineering Program Officially Held

At AKOM Sumbawa, every stage of education is designed to mirror the realities of the heavy equipment industry. Today, this commitment was reaffirmed through a milestone moment: the first Final Project Examination of the year, taken by student Galang Riski Maulana.

This momentum is highly significant as the examination was conducted directly by the Head of the Heavy Equipment Engineering Study Program. The presence of the department head as the primary examiner is more than an academic formality; it is a direct validation of the student’s technical readiness and professionalism before entering the workforce. During this session, all aspects of competence were tested against rigorous standards—demanding a depth of theoretical understanding aligned with practical field implementation.

For Galang, this exam represents the culmination of an intensive learning process at AKOM Sumbawa. Throughout the session, he demonstrated excellent command of the subject matter and the ability to solve technical problems relevant to today’s industry challenges. His success in presenting and defending his final project proves that he is ready to transform into a highly competent and competitive professional.

“A student’s success in passing this exam is a tangible manifestation of the success of our vocational curriculum, which focuses on workforce output. We believe that with high testing standards like these, every AKOM Sumbawa graduate will be capable of meeting the needs of the national heavy equipment industry with dedication and superior work quality,” stated Mr. Agus Harlian, M.M.Inov, Head of the Heavy Equipment Engineering Study Program at AKOM Sumbawa.

Congratulations to Galang Riski Maulana on this prestigious achievement. The path you have paved today serves as motivation for the entire academic community to remain consistent in maintaining the quality of vocational education that is oriented toward real-world competence.
