AKOM Sumbawa has just received a very valuable literacy support through a book donation from the renowned biographer, Nurdin Ranggabarani. This aid was received directly by the CEO of AKOM, Mr. Fajar Rachmat, S.I.Kom, as part of an effort to strengthen historical and cultural insight within the campus environment.

One of the main works highlighted in this collection is a book titled “Dea Malela, dari Sumbawa Selatan Hingga Afrika Selatan (Sebuah Catatan Perjalanan)” [Dea Malela, from South Sumbawa to South Africa (A Travelogue)]. This book is a deep chronicle exploring the footsteps of a great figure from Sumbawa, Dea Malela, whose contributions have crossed national borders all the way to South Africa.

Through a beautifully crafted narrative, readers are invited to immerse themselves in the dynamics of past history and the close cultural connections between Sumbawa and South Africa. The author successfully weaves historical facts into an emotional journey that demonstrates how a local son can have a significant influence on the international historical map.
